Welcome to Crave! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crave mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Crave ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You retain ownership of content you post to Crave ("User Content"), including poll votes, poll contributions (restaurants and dishes you add to polls), photos, and comments. By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, monitor, edit, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
The Service, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Crave and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
"Crave" and our logos are trademarks of Crave. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
Certain features may require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees and authorize us to charge your payment method.
Subscriptions may be purchased in two ways. Purchases made inside the app are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their terms and conditions. Purchases made on our website are processed by Stripe, our payment processor, and are subject to Stripe's terms. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are held by Stripe — we never receive or store your full payment card information.
Whichever way you subscribe, the resulting access to paid features is the same. Refunds for an app store purchase are handled by that app store; refunds for a website purchase are handled by us.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, social media platforms). Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRAVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crave and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
When you delete your account, the deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out everywhere, the account can no longer be signed into, your username is retired, and your personal information is removed. Content you contributed to the community — poll votes, poll contributions, comments — is not torn out of other people's threads; it remains as anonymous content that is no longer connected to you or to any account. Your remaining account record is permanently purged after a 30-day window, and billing records are retained as long as required for financial and legal purposes.
If you subscribed on our website, deleting your account also stops that subscription from renewing. A subscription purchased through an app store must be canceled in that app store's settings — we cannot cancel it for you.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnification, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
